Sunapee Conservation Commission Meeting Minutes January 6, 2010
Present: Van Webb, Robert Hill, Rem Mastin, Roger Whitaker, Lela Emery
An invoice was submitted from Penny Royal Hill Land Surveying & Forestry LLC. The total invoice is for $3,200 less 20% conversation discount $575.00 for a total due $2,625. Action required Van signed the invoice to be paid.
Rem Mastin made the motion to accept the Meeting minutes for December 2, 2009 as written. Robert Hill seconded the motion. Approved 6, Opposed 0
Bob Bell was present to follow up on the Ledge Pond Lot swap. The Conservation Commission will purse placing Conservation easements on the Ledge pond parcels and Bob Bell will pursue seeking an appraisal on the proposed parcel for the swap. The Conservation commission needs comparative value in the parcels.

SCC members will attend the Town of Sunapee Deliberative session and will not hold a meeting for the month of February. Voting business only if required.
A review of the site visit of Fieldstone Hills on Trow Hill Road. Flagging of the parcel will be done in the spring. SCC has a 35 foot strip that leaves a 4 car parking lot to the 27 acre lot. The road will be complete and the parcel deeded in May or June of 2010. No meeting to accept since in a planning board minutes. Done Deal. 2011 SCC will work on a management plan for this parcel. We will be proactive open up our right away before houses go in.
SCC Budget Request has been approved. SCC will have a treasurer’s report for the March Meeting.
Natural Resources hearing for 1/21/10. Master plan will be reviewed by the public, unveiled. Editorial Comments from members of the Planning Board. The comments have been forwarded to Rachel.
Beth McGuinn from ASPLT submitted notes (1/5/10) on the Ledge Pond research she has been doing. Beth’s research has discovered the town has deeded rights of way to both lots. Clayton is surveying. Between Beth and Clayton’s research of abutters past and present deeds SCC should be able to solve the access concerns and questions.
